The Golden Relaxer PR766 is the chair that introduced Golden's patented MaxiComfort positioning, and it's still one of the most requested lift chairs on our floor. It pairs an adjustable three-pillow waterfall back with super plush rounded armrests, an updated side pocket and an extra-wide chaise pad that supports your lower legs.

Two comfort zones move the footrest and back independently, so you can reach a zero gravity style position or recline with your feet above your heart. The AutoDrive hand control saves your favorite positions on four memory buttons.

MaxiComfort is Golden's patented positioning system. Instead of moving the back and footrest together, it splits the chair into separately controlled comfort zones, from two on the Relaxer and Cloud Classic to four on the Cloud+, Titan and Rhea. The result is a range of therapeutic positions, including a zero gravity style recline that takes pressure off your spine.

These are the current Golden chairs built around MaxiComfort without Twilight tilt.

Twilight is Golden's patented tilt technology. The whole chair tilts back as one unit while keeping you supported, so it feels like being cradled rather than just reclined. Every Twilight chair also includes MaxiComfort positioning for five comfort zones in total, which makes these Golden's most adjustable lift chair recliners.

The Cloud family is known for its soft, overstuffed bucket seat that wraps around you. The lineup runs from the 2-zone Cloud Classic, offered up to heavy-duty sizes, through the 4-zone Cloud and Cloud+, to three 5-zone Twilight models at the top.

The two flagship Clouds share Twilight tilt, MaxiComfort positioning and five comfort zones. The Cloud Supreme PR519 is Golden's luxury Cloud, designed for true weightlessness over long sits. The Cloud Elite PR527 puts a classic look around Golden's overstuffed bucket back and can add Nirvana Swedish air massage with heat. Both carry a 400 lb weight capacity.

If you sleep in your chair, start with the EZ Sleeper family. The EZ Sleeper with Twilight PR761 is one of Golden's best sellers, a modern chair built around rest with Twilight tilt and MaxiComfort. The EZ Sleeper Slim with Twilight PR764 offers the same five zones in a slimmer, tailored profile and can be upgraded with Nirvana air massage and FIR heat. The 4-zone EZ Sleeper Slim PR750 keeps MaxiComfort without the tilt.

The Titan and Rhea are Golden's accessory-rich chairs. The Titan PR448 pairs MaxiComfort with built-in conveniences, and the Titan with Twilight PR449 adds Golden's tilt. The Rhea PR442 has an open-arm design with room for its features, plus MaxiComfort and HeatWave technology, while the Rhea with Twilight and Nirvana PR447 adds Twilight tilt, Nirvana Swedish massage and far infrared heat.

Golden's motto for the Comforter series is small to tall, we build them all. The Comforter PR531 offers a straightforward one-zone lift and recline in a wide range of sizes, and the Comforter with MaxiComfort PR535 adds two-zone positioning, from a petite small up to heavy-duty sizes rated to 600 lb. These are the chairs we reach for when someone is shorter, taller or wider than average.

You're invited into our Lift Chair Showroom, where we "fit" you to the right type of chair. We have over 15 different lift chair models to show you, so you can sit in a Relaxer, a Cloud, a MaxiComfort and a Twilight one after another and feel the difference for yourself.

A good fit starts with your height, weight and how you'll use the chair. We check that your feet rest flat on the floor, that the back meets your head and shoulders, and that the lift brings you smoothly to your feet. Then we help you choose comfort zones, fabric and options like heat and massage.

Our showroom is in Burbank at 907 N. Hollywood Way, where Electropedic has been since 1964. From El Cajon it's about a two and a half to three hour drive, and we'll gladly answer questions by phone before you make the trip. We'll gladly answer questions by phone before you make the trip.
