Golden's Cloud Supreme with Twilight, model PR519, is the chair to choose if you plan to sleep in it, spend long hours in it, or need your feet above your heart. It pairs patented Twilight Tilt with MaxiComfort positioning in a five-zone system, so the headrest, lumbar, back, seat and footrest all move independently.
Twilight tilts the entire chair back as it reclines, lifting your legs above your heart for a true feeling of weightlessness. That position takes pressure off the lungs and lower back, and Golden's patented Rejuvenate position shifts pressure from your seat to your back to relieve pressure points and help circulation.
The Cloud Supreme adds a power adjustable headrest and lumbar, an ergonomic bucket seat under a plush biscuit back, a USB charging port on the right arm, battery backup and the programmable AutoDrive hand control. Heat and vibrating massage, HeatWave far-infrared heat, a footrest extension and Straight Lift are all available.
The Cloud Classic, model PR510, is the one people describe as floating. Golden built it around a custom bucket seat that cradles your hips, a plush biscuit back and patented MaxiComfort positioning, which repositions the seat as you recline so your body settles naturally into place.
It is a two-zone chair: the back and the footrest move independently, so you can lie back without raising your legs or elevate your legs while sitting upright. The AutoDrive hand control saves your favorite positions.
The Cloud is one of the few chairs in this group that accepts Golden's full-body HeatWave far-infrared heat option, in addition to standard heat and massage. It comes in Small/Med, Med/Large and Medium/Wide, with a lifetime warranty on the frame, lift frame and recline mechanism.
The Relaxer, model PR766, is the original MaxiComfort lift chair and still a Golden customer favorite. It is the traditional-comfort choice: super plush rounded arms, an adjustable three-pillow waterfall back, updated side pockets and an extra-wide chaise pad that supports the lower legs.
Under the seat are individually pocketed coils, and the three stacked back pillows can be adjusted so support lands exactly where your neck and shoulders need it. The AutoDrive 3.0 hand control has four programmable memory buttons.
It comes in three true sizes, all rated for 400 lbs, with battery backup, the SmartTek diagnostic system and Straight Lift available. Heat and massage is an option on every size, and the Medium and Large accept a footrest extension.
Golden's Comforter with MaxiComfort, model PR535, is built on a simple idea: small to tall, Golden builds them all. It is the MaxiComfort chair with the widest range of sizes, which makes it the answer for petite users, tall users and anyone who needs a wider seat.
Comfort Zones 1 and 2 work together for individualized wellness positioning. The chair features Golden's signature pocketed coil seat, arms with extra plush padding, and extended arms that give you something steady to hold while the chair lifts you to standing.
Sizes run Petite/Small, Medium, Large, Tall, Medium/Wide and Large/Wide, with weight capacities from 400 up to 600 lbs depending on size. Its standard Easy Living fabrics come in Anchor, Bittersweet, Oxford, Port and Sandstorm, and a footrest extension, heat and massage, and Straight Lift are available.

The single biggest difference between Golden chairs is how they move. A comfort zone is a motor, and every added zone gives you one more part of the chair you can control on its own.
MaxiComfort, two zones (Cloud, Relaxer, Comforter with MaxiComfort): the back and the footrest move independently, and the seat repositions as you recline for a deep, near-flat stretch. Right for most people who sit, nap and watch TV.
Twilight, five zones (Cloud Supreme with Twilight): adds a whole-chair tilt that raises your feet above your heart, plus power headrest and lumbar. Right for people who sleep in the chair, deal with swelling in the legs, or spend most of the day seated.
Every chair here lifts you smoothly to standing, and all are FDA Class II medical devices. Depending on eligibility and medical necessity, Golden chairs may qualify for partial reimbursement under certain Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance programs.
Electropedic lift chair engineeringA lift chair that does not fit you will never be comfortable, however good it is. Fit comes down to three measurements: floor-to-seat height, seat depth and seat width.
Sit all the way back. Your feet should rest flat on the floor with your knees near a right angle, and there should be about two fingers of space between the seat edge and the back of your knees. Your head should rest on the top of the back when you recline, and your hips should have a little room on each side.
For petite users, look at the Relaxer Small or the Comforter Petite/Small. For taller users, the Relaxer Large or Comforter Tall. For a wider seat, the Comforter Medium/Wide or Large/Wide, or the Cloud Medium/Wide. Then allow the wall clearance behind the chair, from 20 inches for the Twilight to 27 inches for the Relaxer Large, plus the reclined length in front.

Upgrade to Brisa for the look of leather in a breathable fabric that will not stick to you on a Phoenix summer afternoon, or to Alta performance fabric, with a liquid barrier and antimicrobial protection, for easy cleaning. Crossover fabrics carry an upcharge and add build time.
